Chevrolet Spark

Chevrolet Spark has indeed sparked a lot of controversies because of its innovative design and variety of models. Due to its international exposure in more than 70 countries, earlier models are also known as Daewoo Matiz, Chevrolet Joy and Pontiac Matiz. In 2006, a Chinese manufacturer also copied its salient features in producing Cherry and QQ cars. Despite branding, it current model M300 Chevrolet Spark, is most widely recognized in countries accross Asia, Australia and Europe.
M300
The second generation M300 model was introduced at New York International Auto Show where its vertigo green exterior attracted a lot of attention. The popular M300 version comes with 1.0L or 1.2L turbocharged engines supported by 4 speed automatic or 5 speed manual transmission. Simultaneously produced in South Korea, India and Poland, Chevrolet Spark is introduced as 5 door hatchback city car that is not only fuel efficient, but also provides standard features which are mostly absent in its class. Basically, it is marketed to young buyers who like its bold looks, value and exquisite interior. In India, production has already started in Gujarat plant, which will also produce cars for neighboring Pakistan and other East Asian countries. It is rumored that future production will also include an electric version produced in conjunction with India’s Reva Electrical Car Company. In Pakistan, it is being sold as M200. Soon, M300 version will be offered in United States, next year. Similarly, many Latin American and South American countries are intended to be the future markets of M300 version.
Features
To attract young clients, Chevrolet Spark offers symmetrical center console, curved exteriors, durable materials and a range of colors. In order to make it more functional, designers have adapted family sedan concept by fitting Chevrolet Spark with 5 complete seats ad 3 point belts. Moreover, urban dwellers will love a horde of accessories including ticket holder in sun visor, cup holders and a tray. Futuristic safety standards are evident in manufacturer’s claim of using 38% high steel strength and an innovative collapsible steering column. Reinforced A side pillars, rear washer and five seat belts make it among the most innovative small cars, anywhere. 2010 Chevrolet Colorado Review

This pickup truck is developed and manufactured at GM’s plant in Rayong and Sherveport Louisiana. Colorado is available with both manual and automatic gear transmission. 2010 Colorado compensate for its fault via affordability and wide variety of power trains. This pickup model from Chevrolet faces some challenges from Dodge Dakota, Toyota Tacoma and Nissan Frontier. National base price of 2010 Colorado is around $ 16, 985 which excludes destination charges.
Trim level and Body styles:
2010 Colorado is a mid sized compact pickup truck available with two wheel drive of four wheel drive. This truck is available in three body styles regular cab crew, extended cab and crew cab. Crew cab is available with 5 foot cargo box and other Colorado models features 6 foot bed.
2010 Chevrolet Colorado is available with two primary trim levels which include base work truck and mid to high level LT. Mid to high level LT model consists of 1LT, 2LT and 3LT cub trims. The regular cab consists of work truck and LT1 trim. The extended crew cab is available with 1LT, 2LT and 3LT sub trims. Chevrolet Colorado Crew cab is available with only one trim level i.e. LT trim.
Chevrolet work truck is offered with bare bone, AM and FM stereo and air conditioner. Chevrolet Colorado LT trim is offered with well equipped features in term of 1LT, 2LT and 3LT. Depending upon model Chevrolet Colorado will be offered with in dash CD chargers, full power accessories, satellite radio and keyless ignition.
2010 model is offered with suspension packages which include tailor ride and improved handling features. This model also include standard Z85, Z71 off road package which include skid plates, larger wheels, four wheel drive, larger wires and locking rear differential. This model is also offered with ZQ8 sport package which include quicker steering, lowered suspension and 18 inch standard wheel with performance tires. Chevrolet Colorado Cab Crew is also offered with full power accessories and heated leather seats.
Engine and Performance:
2010 Chevrolet Colorado is offered with either inline-4 or inline-5 or an V8 typed Engine.
Colorado is offered with 2.9 L four cylinder engine and optional 3.7 L capacity engine. Extended crew cab and Crew cab is offered with 5.3 L V8 engine which is capable of generating 300 HP of power and 320 lb-ft of torque. All the models of Chevrolet Colorado is offered with five speed manual transmission and four speed automatic transmission as an option transmission for four cylindered engines. V8 and five cylindered engines will be mated with automatic transmission. Four wheel drive models will be incorporated with Instant track transfer Case with push button controls and an optional rear locking differential.
